After wandering in the college football wilderness for forty years, the Georgia Bulldogs have won back-to-back National Championships, and many consider Kirby Smart to have the new dynasty in college football. Sure, Stetson Bennet won’t be walking through the door this season, but with extensive recruiting and the transfer portal, Georgia has enough talent to further their quest as the new blood of college football.

With success comes an unbelievable amount of comparison to the well-built dynasty that stands at Alabama. However, for Head Coach Kirby Smart and his Georgia Bulldogs, the outside noise of others define their program. After all, why listen to the input when you’ve won back-to-back National Championships doing things that work for your program? Sure, things are different between the two, but Kirby Smart does what he needs to do for his program to continue its success. Not to mention, Georiga has produced several NFL defensive guys in the last five years; to make up an entire defensive unit. As it stands, Georgia Football currently has nineteen defensive guys on NFL rosters.

Since taking over as the Head Coach of the Georgia Bulldogs seven years ago, Coach Kirby Smart built Georgia Football to sustain success by sticking to the process. Something Coach Smart picked up while he served as the defensive coordinator under Nick Saban at Alabama. For Kirby Smart and his program, it’s about the next man up. Georgia has produced top talent in the transfer portal and brought in the best recruits to develop in one of the most proven systems over the last five years.
2023 will be no different for the Georgia Bulldogs as they prepare to chase a three-peat. A few publications are doubting the abilities of Georgia to continue its dominance into the new season. When something is working, why change it? Continued success is enough to believe that Georgia will be in the running for another National Championship in 2023.
