Wednesday morning, Head Coach Nick Saban took to the podium and talked with the Southeastern Conference media about the current state of the Alabama Football program. After a two-season drought of no National Championships due to the uprising of the Georgia Football program, Alabama Football has something to prove to many who have started the chatter that Coach Saban and his program are the thought of yesterday and no longer have a grip on College Football.
However, for Coach Saban and his program, it’s all about trusting the process and continuing what has been successful for so long. Coach Saban presented a strong homefront for those who think the Alabama Football dynasty is over. Coach Saban mentioned having experience across the board, the new coaches in the system, and playing winning football at every position.
Coach Saban mentioned from the podium the humility of his program and how his guys were using the learning experiences over the last two years to continue to develop into a Championship winning program. In the words of Coach Saban, ” Every season is a new challenge.”

Humility is often a good thing in college football, as programs go through cycles where a play might go one of two ways, and they’re left out missing on the opportunity to compete for a National Championship. With seven National Championships, Coach Saban understands the importance of remaining humble before returning to the top.
Coach Saban also returned to ” Trusting the process.” Coach Saban has spent his entire career preaching from the pulpit of “trusting the process,” and it’s worked. Coach Saban runs his program with tight supervision; nothing goes on inside the Alabama Football program without the approval of Coach Saban. Trusting the process is not only the slogan, but Alabama Football lives by the standard Coach Saban has used all these years.
Coach Saban spent his career adapting to the modernization of College Football; why some media believe he will stop now is outlandish. Until proven otherwise, Alabama Football is in the middle of a lull. Even during that lull, Alabama Football has had more success in the last two seasons; than most programs have in over 100 years. In 2021, Alabama lost to the Georgia Bulldogs in the National Championship game, and in 2022 Alabama earned a bid to the Sugar Bowl, where they dominated Kansas State. Alabama has lost four times since winning the National Championship in 2020. Not many football programs, let alone the Southeastern Conference, have had that level of success over two years.

Sure, expectations are a bit higher at the University Of Alabama with College Football, yet, the dynasty is far from over. Alabama Football has had sustained success since the dawn of time. Coach Bear Bryant planted the seed, and Coach Gene Stallings carried the torch before Coach Saban cemented Alabama Football as the gold standard for others to follow. Until the fat lady sings, Coach Saban and Alabama Football will continue to ” Trust The Process” and be the standard for others to follow.
Alabama will open their season on September 3rd at home against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.
