Head Coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are chomping at the bit to kickoff the 2021 season

We’re less than 25 days away from the opening kickoff of the 2021 College Football season, and Kirby Smart and his Georgia Bulldogs, like many others across the country, are hard at work preparing for a new season. A new season where people across the College Football landscape have already started the talk that this may be the best shot that Coach Kirby Smart has to win a National Championship at Georgia. In all honesty, those people are dead on about the reality behind this program.

On paper, Georgia’s offense should be one of the best in the country, with seven returning starters from last season. Among those returning for the Bulldogs, JT Daniels, Zamir White, and on the offensive line, Jamaree Salyer. Those three guys are expected to be the leaders for this Georgia Bulldogs team this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, things could start to get a little interesting for Kirby and his boys. Georgia returns only four starters from last season and will have to fill a massive void left by Eric Stokes, Richard Lecountee, and Azeez Ojulari. All three guys played massive roles last season all three led in their perspective positions.

So where does Head Coach Kirby Smart and his Bulldogs turn to as a new season approaches? Quite honestly, it’s not an easy overnight fix. It all starts and ends with the guys in the locker room. No matter what Kirby or anybody else says, These guys have got to believe in each other and fight for the same end goal.

For Georgia, that week one matchup with the Clemson Tigers could not only change the outcome of the season, with major playoff implications but could also completely flip the way people view this program. A win over Clemson would put Kirby Smart and his boys one leg up on the rest of the College Football world. A loss would put the Bulldogs behind the eight ball, where they would have to win out to make the College Football Playoffs. A win would also prove that Kirby Smart can win the big one.

Overall, 2021 should be an exciting one for those in Athens, a win over Clemson on week one could set the Bulldogs up for a magical run to the College Football Playoffs. Where, if Georgia can do so, will likely be the favorite to win a National Championship. A loss to Clemson wouldn’t be the end of the season for the Bulldogs, but it would things hard for them to run the table and earn an automatic bid into the College Football Playoff.
