Heading into the First Round on Thursday, the conversation has shifted from LIV Golf and the distractions that have brought to the entire PGA Tour; to the excitement of new dreams as aspirations ahead of the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Sure, everybody is excited about the Golfers who have flocked to Memphis for an entire week, but Memphians need to be made aware of just how big it is to have the FedEx Playoffs here in the 901. On Thursday morning of the FedEx St. Jude Championship, fans won’t want to miss back-to-back featured groups of three. First off, on the tee at 8:10, fans will be entertained by the grouping of Tony Finau, Justin Thomas, and Cameron Young. Following them at 8:21 will be the likeness of Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Smith, and Sam Burns. Both featured groups will go off the first tee box at TPC Southwind.
In the afternoon hours of the FedEx St. Jude Championship, the group to watch out for will be the threesome of Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, and Rory McIlroy. That threesome will go off the first tee box at 1:06 central.
