What seems impossible is that we have already reached week two of the 2022 College Football is a part of the excitement surrounding this weekend in the Southeastern Conference. A handful of teams will start their SEC journey this weekend with marquee games. Others like Coach Nick Saban and his Alabama Crimson Tide will hit the road in a weird nonconference matchup with the Texas Longhorns as an appetizer before the battle between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Arizona. The excitement surrounding week two was hard to miss. There has been a lot of chatter stating that week two of the 2022 season has the potential to be one of the biggest we will see all season.
Week one delivered one of the most memorable weekends of College Football in recent memory, leading to a highly anticipated week two.

With an early kick, Coach Beamer and his South Carolina Gamecocks hit the road to take on the Razorbacks of Arkansas. In what appears to be one of the more intriguing matchups of the day, we will get to gauge where both the Gamecocks and Razorbacks are on the scale. With the Razorbacks being the home team, Coach Pittman and his team have the advantage over the Gamecocks. However, Beamer Ball is a real threat this season could make things fairly interesting on Saturday morning. As it stands right now, you would almost have to give the advantage to Arkansas because of the insane environment that will take place in Fayetteville on Saturday.

Down in the swamps of Florida, the Gators will look to welcome Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky defeated the Gators last season in Lexington. A new sheriff is in town for the Gators. After a win over the Utah Utes last Saturday, the anticipation for the Kentucky game this weekend has hit an all-time high. Saturday’s matchup between the Gators and Wildcats will come down to the two quarterbacks in Anthony Richardson at Florida and Will Levis at Kentucky. As weird as cliche as it sounds, Saturday’s matchup between the two will be won by the team who can limit the turnovers and keep the other offensive unit off the field.

Elsewhere around the Southeastern Conference, you have a matchup where Mike Leach and his Mississippi State Bulldogs hit the road on Saturday night to take on the Arizona Wildcats. According to multiple reports coming out of Starkville, Mississippi, the Bulldogs have a lot of maroon-added fans making the trip out west to experience their version of Pac 12 After Dark. Cowbells will be ringing on Saturday night in Arizona as the Bulldogs look to tame the Wildcats.

In what Tennessee is calling the Johnny Majors Classic, the Volunteers take the explosive show on the road to take on the Pitt Panthers in a star-studded matchup between two programs on the crisp of something magical. Tennessee needs the win on Saturday over the Panthers to continue their building of a Championship program on Rocky Top.

With College GameDay in town, Alabama hits the road to Austin, Texas, to take on the Longhorns of Texas. The Crimson Tide are double-digit favorites on Saturday. Alabama and Coach Saban will likely throw the Horns Down on Saturday en route to a monster win over the Longhorns. Alabama is just that much better than Texas, the Longhorns still have a long road ahead, and the matchup with the Crimson Tide will be too much to handle in week two of the 2022 College Football season.
